- History:
- In the rural and hilly area like Soegaon it was very difficult for students to acquire basic skills of English language and they even could not afford to go urban areas. So, keeping this idea in the mind Late Baburaoji Kale, the founder of institution, brought his vision into the reality by establishing Department of English in 1971. Since its inception the department has been maintaining a good academic record. One of students has also qualified SET Exam. The eminent faculties worked in the department are A.B. Nikumb, R.C. Rajput, Rakesh Mali, Deore.

- About the Department:
- English language opens the window to the world, and so has earned considerable significance in today’s global era. In order to be successful in any field, English is regarded as a prerequisite language. It accelerates the process of honing one’s skills and personality. English literature also helps in knowing various cultures, which widens our intellectual horizons. It helps in understanding life, human nature, human psychology and variegated avenues of human tendencies.
